Liqui Moly's threadlocker is used to permanently secure and seal threaded connections. The product hardens in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leaks caused by impacts and vibrations.

Application

• Apply evenly to screws or nuts. Cures under anaerobic conditions.
• When it comes to curing time, a distinction must be made between active and passive materials.
• Active materials are metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g., iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). Active materials ensure rapid curing.
• For passive materials such as high-alloy (stainless) steel, zinc, aluminum or plastics, curing occurs very slowly.
