The SAM® Pelvic Sling is the first and only force-controlled circumferential pelvic belt. The sling offers an optimized one-piece design and has been scientifically proven to safely and effectively compress and stabilize open-book pelvic ring fractures.
The patented SAM® AUTOSTOP buckle prevents the SAM® Pelvic Sling from being tightened too much or not enough. When the optimal compression force is reached, two prongs are activated that lock into place with an audible click, confirming correct application. The sling is held in position with the hook-and-loop strap.
