The Range Enhancer is an add-on lens for the VECTOR X and RADICAL X series laser rangefinders from Safran Vectronix.

Depending on the model, the enhancer enlarges the image by the following factors:

Over the years, Safran Vectronix has supplied a significant number of Vector military rangefinders to various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. In response to their requests for higher magnification, they developed optional screw-on range boosters that increase the Vector's base magnification by 40%. These quickly gained widespread popularity and became an immediate success.

When development of the VECTOR X / RADICAL X began, it became clear that a similar magnification accessory would be an essential element to include. These accessories for the VECTOR X / RADICAL X are the optionally available range extenders. They also provide a 40% increase in base magnification and can be easily screwed onto the threads of the VECTOR X / RADICAL X lenses.

Increase magnification by 40%

The optional range extenders significantly increase the flexibility and range of the VECTOR X / RADICAL X. With the range extenders installed, your VECTOR X / RADICAL X becomes an impressive remote observation device:

• 8×42 VECTOR X increases to 11×42
• 10×42 VECTOR X increases to 14×42
• 12×42 VECTOR X increases to 17×42

We recommend choosing a VECTOR X with MSR-DMR reticle if you plan to use it frequently with the optional range extenders, as the MSR-DMR is calibrated for both magnification levels.

As robust as the VECTOR X / RADICAL X itself

To ensure durability and protection, the range extenders are equipped with a protective rubber armor. They also come with a soft protective case for convenient storage and transport. It's worth noting that the hinged lens covers of your VECTOR X / RADICAL X can also be used with the range extenders. This provides effective protection for the front lenses, protecting them from scratches and other potential damage.
