MDT - Mountain Bipod

The MDT Mountain Bipod is the ultimate answer to the demands of discerning mountain hunters and lightweight enthusiasts. When every meter of elevation counts and gear has to be carried over kilometers, this bipod is in its element. It was designed from the ground up to be barely noticeable in the backpack or on the rifle, yet to deliver uncompromising stability at the decisive moment on the summit.

Through an intelligent combination of carbon fiber and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, the Mountain Bipod breaks weight records without sacrificing the torsional rigidity needed for long shots in the mountains.

Key features and technical details

The legs of the Mountain Bipod are made of high-strength carbon fiber that withstands extreme loads while damping vibrations when the shot is fired. Thanks to a well-thought-out clamping system, the legs can be extended quietly and set to the desired height in a flash. The various angle detents of the legs allow an extremely low positioning of the weapon – ideal for shots in steep terrain or from elevated rock ledges.

The ultra-compact mounting head ensures that the bipod sits extremely close to the forend when folded and does not snag on anything when moving through thick brush. An integrated tilt function (cant) allows quick compensation on slopes so that the reticle of the optic always stays perfectly level. The resistance of this tilting movement can be adjusted with ease. The slim feet provide optimal grip on icy, rocky or soft ground.
