With this suppressor mount, you can use your compatible suppressors with the Sidewinder Self Timing Brake system simply by removing your Sidewinder brake and attaching this adapter.

The mounts are black nitrided to prevent galling.

Our mounts do not use a collar like the muzzle brake. These mounts are screwed into your suppressor, which allows your suppressor to be screwed directly onto the Sidewinder universal adapter (left-hand thread). This allows the mount to be made considerably more compact and it adds only minimally to the overall length of the system.
We recommend applying blue Loc-Tite to the external thread of the mount in order to fix it semi-permanently in the suppressor. Since you now screw the suppressor on counterclockwise, it can come loose again when being attached to the barrel if it has not been screwed firmly enough into the suppressor. Don't worry, however: because of the opposing thread directions, it is impossible in this situation for the two parts to stick to each other. Simply turn it in the other direction, and they will separate from one another; then start again.
Gen 2 mounts are supplied with a wrench.
NOTE: Using Lemishine (or any other citric-acid-based cleaner) or CLR to clean your brake device will likely cause discoloration.
